Our Service
We offer advice and policies based on a fair market analysis from a range of insurers for home, motor, commercial, and travel insurances. Breakdown cover and legal expenses are offered as an optional extra from one insurer. We help with any ongoing changes you have to make, and can also assist you with making a claim.

Disclosure
It is your responsibility to provide complete and accurate information to insurers when you take out your insurance policy, throughout the life of your policy, and when you renew your insurance. Failure to disclose information pertaining to your insurance, or any inaccuracies in information given, could result in your insurance policy being invalid or cover not operating fully.
If you are in any doubt about whether information is material, you should disclose it.

Confidentiality and data protection
We are registered under the Data Protection Act 1998, and we undertake to comply with the Act in all our dealings with a client’s personal data.

Complaints
It is our intention to provide you with a high level or customer service at all times. If our service falls below the standard our clients reasonably expect and they have cause for complaint, we endeavour to ensure that at the appropriate stage the matter is handled fairly and promptly by a senior member of staff. If we consider that your complaint is not with regard to our performance (for instance, if the complaint concerns the performance of your insurer), we will endeavour to put you in contact with an appropriate person to whom your complaint may be addressed. If we are unable to settle your complaint, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service at South Quay Plaza, 183 Marsh Wall, London, E14 9SR : Tel. 0845 080 1800 : www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk

Cancellation rights
You have the right to cancel the policy within 14 days of inception, or the date you receive the policy documents (whichever is later). Provided there have been no claims in this period, insurers will allow a pro-rata refund of premium, subject to a minimum charge, and we will retain a proportion of our fee. If you decide to cancel the policy at any time other than during the cancellation period, we will retain in full any fees that you have paid.

Premiums and financial aspects
In order to be able to offer you credit facilities, we are registered under the Consumer Credit Act and our Licence Number is 177452. We normally accept payment by cash, guaranteed cheque or the following credit/debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Switch, Electron. You may be able to spread your payments through insurers’ instalment schemes, a credit scheme with a third party finance provider, or a facility we have arranged ourselves.

Client money (Non-statutory trust)
Premiums that we collect from you will be segregated into and held in a Client Money Bank Account. Once you have paid the premium to us, it is treated as being paid to the insurer (as they confirm “risk transfer” to us in their terms of business). Return premiums Return premiums usually arise if an insurance risk is reduced or a policy cancelled. If a policy is cancelled, we will refund any return premium due (after deduction of the commission). Insurers do not usually allow a refund of premium if there has been a claim on the policy, and instalment payments should therefore be maintained in these circumstances.

Remuneration
In the normal course of business we receive income as follows:
Commission paid to us by insurance companies with whom we place business
A service charge to cover the administration of your insurance
Arranging a new policy - As advised before purchase
Renewal: £5.00
Mid-term amendments: £5.00
Duplicate Documents: £5.00


Renewal premiums paid by instalments
In good time before the renewal of you policy, we shall contact you with the renewal premium and terms for the coming year. If you have not contacted us before the renewal date, we shall renew the policy automatically on your behalf. If you do not wish to renew the policy, please let us know as soon as possible. We should also advise you to cancel your direct debiting instruction with your bank prior to renewal date. If it is your intention to renew the policy, no action is required by you, and the policy will renew automatically

Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)
We are covered by the FSCS. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim. Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the first £2,000 and 90% of the remainder of the claim, without any upper limit. Governing law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties agree herewith that any dispute arising out of it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
